Great epic biblical film on the life of Christ with Max Von Sydow giving a standout performance as Jesus Christ

Amazing story about Jesus. I watch it every Easter.

Ballsy to call yourself the greatest story ever told when The Golden Girls had a 7 season run. The audacity!

Visual style and artistic choices are brilliant. Maybe not as modern and exciting as newer movies telling the life of Jesus Christ

It's a dated interpretation. It's been ages since I've seen it but there are far better movies and even shows now that show the life of JC.

Long, boring. Bad interpretation, some distortion even. Much better off seeing the onr called Gospel of John.

A bit lengthy but really well done. Definitely would recommend, especially to those of the faith.

A loving example of the subject matter, though a bit maudlin here and there.

While I believe the actual story is great, the movie is over long, and Jesus is portrayed as a very boring, uncharismatic teacher.
