It feels like a poor knockoff of "The Skeleton Key", which is a superior movie in any way.
An uncomfortable film that examines Spanish views towards aging and elder care. Not many scares but it makes you feel miserable.
La Abuela is a chilling, atmospheric horror about family and aging. Paco Plaza delivers dread-filled suspense and a haunting climax.
This movie was weird, but it's still a decent film, the plot was kinda confusing until the end.
