On the other side of the world in Los Angeles, the priestess Kee Nang seeks the Chosen One, who will save the boy from death. When Nang sees social worker Chandler Jarrell on television discussing his ability to find missing children, she solicits his expertise, despite his skepticism over being "chosen."

Classic 80s Eddie with great effects at the end

Struggles from the multi-genre. And then when the effects come they feel hidden. Murphy has a couple funny moments. Lewis is lovely.

Absolutely hysterical. It’s an underrated hidden gem from Eddie Murphy. It can be a little slow paced,& does have its flaws, but it’s good.

This just screams 80's comedy. From the music to the clothes and everything in between. Eddie Murphy is in fine comedic form though.

Entertaining adventure when Murphy still made good movies.

Was really funny back in the day, though it has not added well. Today you can skip this.

Decent. More of an action fantasy than a comedy

Why did this movie get so much crap? If you actually watch it through you'd see how good it really is. No it's not amazing, but it's good.
