Rebellious teen Amy defies her parents by going to a trashy carnival that has pulled into town. In tow are her boyfriend, Buzz, and their friends Liz and Richie. Thinking it would be fun to spend the night in the campy "Funhouse" horror ride, the teens witness a murder by a deformed worker wearing a mask. Locked in, Amy and her friends must evade the murderous carnival workers and escape before it leaves town the next day.

There are a few polarizing scenes in this movie- just throwing that out. Overall, a good era-horror flick with great ambiance.
Nice typical classic 80’s slasher franchise without being a slasher really. Think if they would of had a slasher clown in it would been cool
Creepy as hell. Makeup effects are amazing.
An underrated classic from Mr. Hooper. Its very atmospherical and dark. The carnival setting feels fresh and oddly claustrophobic. A classic
Entertaining 80's cheese by Tobe Hooper. Turn off and watch the body count rise!!
Not Tobe Hooper's best film. Probably a good double feature filler with something more enjoyable.
Not a very bad movie, but I've seen funnyer movie with this theme.
The Funhouse is only the last 25 minutes of this incredibly slow, poorly acted, and terribly paced movie. Boring and lacking any fun moments
Aside from a vividly lit carnival setting, the film seems to want to recreate TCM & the lunacy of Eaten Alive, but comes of tired & silly.
I was hyped with both of his TCM movies, but this was just dull and disappointing.
