Didn't get it. Love Meryl Streep, but I guess this wasn't for me.
Great adaptation of Fowles novel. Adds layer of actors having affair while filming novel. Streep and Iron are great. Obviously pretentious!
Not a great adaptation I think but the concept is clever
Yes, really dated and flat to me, decent watch but not life changing
Kind of complicated to follow the story but Meryl Streeps performance helps the film come together
A solidly written, well acted, beautifully shot, nicely edited film. It’s a tad bit boring at times though.
Not too shabby but still preferred the book... Solid performances from Jeremy Irons and Meryl Streep though!
One of Meryl’s beginning roles as a film actor. The story may be confusing from time to time but her acting in this is beyond. Amazing movie
It’s a really unique way to adapt a novel. The convention is one I’ve never seen duplicated.
Irons gives the best performance of his career in this mesmerizing parallel tale of obsessive love.
