I’ll look past the garbage English dub and say that this is a fun if long kung fu story. Simple + engaging plot and characters, good fights.

Limitations of the era aside even the english dub has some charm

Tch tch tch *smash* tch tch *coughs blood* - Terrible dub, the exact same sound effects, and high resolution close ups of fake beards. Nice.

Very interesting kung-fu film. A nice understanding of the different styles of kung-fu with a nice use of mythology. Fun movie to watch.

The pinnacle of Shaw Bros. kung fu movies. Great action, wild story, terrible English dub. The best.

Nominally great bad 70s dubbed martial arts film. Novel concept, plot-wise.

Some really good action scenes in this film. Overall a great film.

One to watch for those who appreciate extended exhibitions and fight sequences.
