Not very memorable, but the dynamic of the family and storyline are pretty engaging.
The “comedy” tag is a bit of a stretch. This film realistically delves into familial dysfunction. Not my thing, but it achieves its purpose.
Quietly fun in a loosey goosey kind of way. Cast all does great work. Maybe not quite clever enough scripting for as formless as it ends up.
Its a fun indie with a great cast that was largely unknown at the time it was made.
Silly everyday comedy, not unlike a good film version of a ‘90s sitcom minus the laugh track
The first 40 minutes had me thinking this might be one of the greatest movies and the rest was obvious if not dull.
Feels very Baumbach esque really actually loved it
4 stars is a lot. But this movie hits all marks in comedy, social commentary and drama. Couldn’t get my eyes off the screen. Hidden gem
The dialogue is snobbish and entertaining but the plot lacks creativity
A good Mottola !
