The “werewolves” just look like German Shepard’s to me lol. Weird movie. Worth a watch if you are in the mood for a silly strange 80’s movie
Dogs cast as wolves can get distracting, but art design looks gorgeous otherwise. Who doesn’t love a good dark, psychosexual fairytale?
What an odd dreamy werewolf/fairytale movie; it's got its flaws but its novelty makes up for a lot of them.
Red Riding Hood as a coming-of-age allegory. Dark, sensual, frightening.
Good effects, and great use of sound stages to bring you into a mystical world.
So bizarre yet I loved it. Dark fairy tale with scary scenes and romance intertwined. Not for everyone
Had this on VHS. Just bought on dvd. Loved it all over again.
Great effects but the plot is a bit slow
Enjoyable but really confusing narrative. So much catholic guilt and symbolism it hurts. The animatronic wolf is hilarious.
This is such a hidden gem. If Into the Woods was darker. It’d be this. Odd and unsettling. Absolutely rewatch.
