Has only the barest suggestion of plot: it’s more like a freeform documentary on the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, only fictionalized.
You can see the favoritism and how once a dancer falls out of favor their career could be difficult, but it was too slow & disjointed
This is the boringest thing I have ever seen. And I have literally watched grass grow.
One of the better ballet dramas, gets at the culture of dance, and some nice Altman touches.
