Only watched for Cage, there isn't enough of him. It's not horrible, but it's not good.
Dull, uneven, and forgettable—The Carpenter’s Son struggles with pacing and depth, leaving a story that never quite connects.
If the concept of "emo Jesus" sounds interesting, watch it. Otherwise skip it.
Just read The Infancy Gospel of Thomas. It's much better than this movie. What a weird take on Joseph. Yikes.
There's nothing interesting about this movie. The portrayal of Jesus as somewhat confused may be controversial. Not memorable at all.
To graft the story of Jesus onto the template of a genre film is, if blasphemous to the faithful, and mainly just silly to everyone else.
