The Brave One

I really liked this. It was pretty dramatic in parts but I found the characters interesting and the premise intriguing.

Think Death Wish with a female lead. Good production and well written. It’s realistic and believable. Her vulnerability kept it tense.

Jodi Foster portrays a vigilante in this tense thriller. It’s refreshing, because the story is believable and unfolds in a realistic way.

Incredibly well-made vigilante justice film, B-movie given prestige treatment that’s oddly satisfying, Foster & Howard are both fantastic

Vigilante women. Nice change from the usual.

It’s nice to see a female take up this trope à la Death Wish. At times it felt like it was going trough the motions, but was overall good.

This is basically the female version of Death Wish. Jodie Foster mostly makes Charles Bronson proud.
