Although the acting was great, you wonder what was the point of telling this story.
Young widow moves to a new town so she can open a bookshop, but the grand dame of the town has other ideas for the building. Quiet & brutal.
I fell in love with this movie and by the end i decided i want to open a bookshop...
Very slow and kinda boring, but I loved the scenes where books were involved
Wonderfully acted. Good story. Very enjoyable.
A masterwork of character development and tone. It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion.
meh. was better than I thought it would be. acting and cinematography is superb
Not everyone would like it, but it's interesting and different
An outrageously slow movie with an interesting ending.
If it weren't for the awful narration and pointless coda this would have been great. But the narration and coda made it near unwatchable.
