Well threaded together, really gives you an insight into how it was. Haven't read the book so can't give a comparison. Sad, brilliant film

I love films set in this time, and this is very well done! Just as good as the book

It’s my favourite book so I’d hoped the film would be good adaptation, which it was!

A smart but very sad story. Very important movie though.

It was an unusual take of how it was in Germany for the normal people during the Nazi regime. Very human, raw and sad.

Some convenient sequences to drive the plot forward but overall a good story.

I like WWII movies and this one has a good story. Could be better if the characters speak always in german. As a book fan, I enjoyed it.

Best book to movie adaptation I've seen. It's my favourite book so I'm a little biased.
