Really enjoyed watching this! Ending had me in tears. I don’t normally gravitate towards religious-themed films, but this was well worth it.
Modern creativity at its finest with beautiful cinematography. Go in knowing that your mom or grandma would never support this.
This film is great for it’s themes of faith and forgiveness, and LaKeith Stanfield is a gem as the lead.
An explicitly religious satire without an explicitly religious message, and a very clever one at that.
As an atheist, I still went for the comedy and LaKeith Stanfield, but by the end I was a little confused on what this film was saying

At it core it a really good religious film that have it messages about faith and forgiveness yet have it standout moments, Stanfield deliver
Lakeith Stanfield feels right at home in the most bizarre roles. Intriguing idea, but I don’t recall the ending. I think I fell asleep
Seems to reinforce religion more than poke fun at it. Great performance from the leads, but not that funny as comedies go.
The story is messy and unsatisfying.
