Easily one of the greatest noirs. the female characters kick serious ass and there’s no pulled punches on making the story dark.
One of the all time greatest noirs. The film is surprisingly brutal for its time, thanks to fritz lang. The scene stealer is Gloria Graham.
A great vibe and Gloria Grahame is at her best. But there's a squareness to the telling -- it's all very black and white. (noir pun!!)
Classic noir. Glenn Ford takes on crime boss. The big cast dwindles as he progresses. Brutal and chilling.
Relentless smacking, shooting, and burning noir with some straight up horror elements. What a scorcher.
