My 2nd giallo. There is both great and terrible filmmaking. I’d like to re-cut this!
Creepy movie with great atmosphere. One of the best portrayals of Lovecraft
It’s a Fulci film which means it has cheesy acting, a quirky soundtrack, and lots of fake blood. It also means it’s silly, gory fun.
The middle entry in the Gates Of Hell trilogy is my favorite. It has a really good story behind it while being brutal yet a lot of fun.
Considered Fulci's masterpiece, the film is both beautifully shot and gory. The ending is worth watching for alone.
Trippy and gruesome as all B-movies should be
Watched the composer’s cut. Amazing. No transporting zombies but there are more at least. Love Fulci.
Perfectly bloody and gruesome with some scary looking zombies
This was boring. I tried to stick with it and enjoy the visuals but there was just nothing there for me.
In The Beyond, Fulci utilizes his American setting (through an Italian perspective) to create something surreal and unnerving. A classic.
