In rural Connecticut, baseball players Ben and Mickey are trying to survive a zombie plague. They are forced to form a battery: a catcher and a pitcher who work together to outwit the batter, the one who hits the ball. And the batter in this case just happens to be a zombie. Tough Ben and gentle Mickey frequently disagree on the best way to go about the situation. Then they suddenly hear a human voice through their walkie-talkies. Is salvation nearby, like Mickey thinks, or is Ben’s suspicion justified?

A character study set in the zombie apocalypse, it’s the perfect example of how much you can achieve with a small budget.
Slow burn zombie buddy flick. Smart writing with a lot of heart. Great tension but minimal action if that’s your thing. I love this one!
Not a lot of action but the story is worth it
A fantastic road trip buddy conflict film that was somehow made with a mere $6,000. Oh yeah, and there’s zombies.
One of the the best indie zombie films ever.
Absurdly boring. Nothing happens for the entire film and I hate all the characters
Very underrated, good slow burn that doesn’t hold your hand.
Decent low budget horror/road trip movie, the zombie setting doesn’t really define the movie, it’s more of a study of character interaction.
The story becomes stagnant at times, and some scenes feel unnecessarily long. İ just couldnt resist.
Fantastic if you divorce this from the zombie-genre it got pitched as an entry of. More of a take on the “we don’t pick our family” trope.
