Mischievous Huck Finn is unnerved when his father, reemerging after years away, kidnaps him in an attempt to take away a $600 inheritance from his late mother. Fearing for his life, Huck fakes his own death and escapes. He soon runs into his friend, Jim, a slave fleeing his master. Together, the pair embarks on a raft journey down the Mississippi River, staying ahead of pursuers who blame the slave for Huck's alleged murder.

Loved the books and the movie! Elijah Wood is great as 'Huck Finn.'
Not exactly the book since Tom Sawyer is left out. Among other things. Elijah Wood is excellent though.
Family friendly, a bit dark given the time, but overall a fun adventure that has aged well.
It's watchable, but pales in comparison to the great novel it is based on. Nothing special about it.
While true enough to the novel, I found the pacing to be slow and the acting bland.
Great family adventure film
Young Elijah Wood.
