Though packed with quirky characters, they never veer into the realm of ridiculous or unbelievable. Full of hope and romance.
Quirky little film with a real beating heart at its core. Lovely stuff.
Interesting drama, with a cool cast. Kills a couple of hours whilst ironing or polishing the furniture!

21/2* Depressed man deals with sad life including the killing of his son. Meets an upbeat oddball dog trainer. More an allegory than story.
I think Kasdan’s accessibility was his main asset as a writer/director. This film was rough because Hurt remains remote for the bulk of it.
Wonderful characters and sorry. Lovely ending. William Hurt was amazing in it.
Interesting one time viewing and a good Geena Davis performance.
Weeeeird… I don’t know how to describe it. I guess I liked it but I probably wouldn’t watch it again
