I wish the scene with all the neon lights in the background and all the characters underexposed in the foreground went on forever
Visually stunning, story wise a bit dull, although layered. You'll remember the shots, not the characters
stands out like a sore thumb in 80s melodrama and is a sorely missed thumb in classic film conversations. patented Yang meditative tapestry.
The best part of watching old, foreign slice of life films is getting a glimpse into what different places were like in that moment of time.
