"Silence is compliance" handles this topic very well in 1930s Germany, severely underrated film. Just remember, "Swing Heil!"
Favorite movie of all time. Underrated in my opinion.
Never even heard of it bug actually really cool and handles a serious topic
Swing kids try to resist becoming Hitler youth. Swing heil!
A fun movie about how you can hate nazis even if you don’t particularly care about their atrocities and just really like jazz. :/ Too real.
I remember seeing trailers for this and thinking it would be terrible. It isn't. Good story about the dangers of authoritarianism.
Talented cast. Great acting and engrossing story.
Thank you to my history teacher for showing us this. Criminally underrated and unknown and actually made me cry a little bit.
Authentic representation of the era. Great acting, early Christian Bale; it’s not Newsies
This is an extremely moving film with an interesting German point of view during WWII. It’s an eye opening experience. Strongly suggest!!
