Guy is a young film executive who's willing to do whatever it takes to make it in Hollywood. He begins working for famed producer Buddy Ackerman, a domineering, manipulative, coldhearted boss. When Guy also finds out that his cynical girlfriend, Dawn, has been using sex as a career move, he reaches his limit. Guy decides to exact revenge on Buddy by kidnapping him and subjecting him to cruel and unusual punishment.

The cast, particularly Spacey and Whaley, bring this script to life, playing so well off of each other. Clever Dark Comedy.

Great performances. Kind of a contrived plot. Hasn’t aged all that well.

Spacey has played this role too many times for the film to get too much mileage off of him.Makes all the obvious points about capitalism.

Kevin Spacey is not a good person, He is a good actor, and as immensely unlikeable in this movie. Watch it to double hate him.

One of those films that are not nearly as smart as it thinks it is.
