Only Williams could create this Melodrama about crazed family. Madness, cannibalism, hate-in a locale resembling the unconscious. Spooky.
When you write out the vagrant character, focus changes from mortality and loneliness to madness and perversity, & Violet is less relatable
There’s something hypnotic & almost intoxicating about a Tennessee Williams play… Both Hepburn & Taylor have exceptional performances.
A great gothic mystery drama featuring some of the greatest performers in history.
Fantastic film with two strong female personalities. You cant help but get invested in every minute of spoken dialogue.
