Not as chilling as the original but some of the changes make it seem more authentic, the characters are given more agency
As for thriller Remakes this really good with a strong premise & writing that keep you at edge of your seat,McAvoy disturbing evil greatness
McAvoy is literally amazing in this role, he brings the intensity! Charming but sociopathic at the same time.All around unsettling vibes.
An incredible thriller that keeps you captivated by an incredible story and cast which is led by the elite James McAvoy
A much more believable version over the original Danish film. James McAvoy continues to prove he may be a top 10 all time actor.
A strong entry. There were no issues with this film but I figured out the plot quite early on and there was a lack of wow factor. 4/5
Not the best or most scary flim, but I did enjoy it.
The build-up of suspense throughout the movie is amazing. It really got to me.
The original was a commentary on Danish Politeness this remake touches on Passive aggression and how quickly it turns into abuse. see it!
A little sanitized compared to the nihilistic original version, but very compelling nonetheless.
