A tender, human story about dealing with trauma. Bad things are sometimes unavoidable, but life is still worth living.
A good drama dealing with an important subject matter. Touching but, with a bit of humor to lighten it up. A really good watch.
TW for SA. Plots, in excruciating detail, recovery after trauma. Using with some clients for re-parenting purposes. Agreed, needs more cat.

most realistic portrayal of sexual assault i’ve ever seen. i love that they didn’t show any violence the entire time too
To see and feel seen by Agnes is a healing gift to me personally and I’m sure to many others as well. One of my favorites of 2025.
Eva Victor and Naomi Ackie are magical together. The movie treats trauma with a wry, honest humor that hit me like a warm hug.
