Not perfect but there were some aspects of this I really loved.
Domingo and Macklin carry an otherwise decent film. As if CODA meets the documentary, Daughters.
I have to say I lost interest by the end, but it was an incredible emotional film with beautiful acting. Deserves a rewatch. And that song…
A spectacular true story about the power of performance.
“Sing Sing” is a criminally underseen and underrated film. It is a testament to the transcendent and redemptive power of art.
Inspiring, but that seems to be despite the film itself, which I thought lacked focus. Former inmates in the roles are absolutely brilliant.
These actors really lived it. Powerful to see people improving their lives however they can.
Very well made movie about a group of prisoners that have formed an acting troop and perform plays. Uses the actual prisoners at sing sing.
Joy bait, such happy to see most of the guys who actually lived the story came back to play themselves! So fitting
Some scenes are incredibly creative. Actings and story line on point. 10/10
