I love that you can feel the female perspective clearly and it was organic

Couldn't make it through, wasn't drawn in.

A gorgeously made film that utilises every aspect of the medium to convey the full range of emotions on display from the cast.

An intriguing & unpredictable drama. Moss is understated but intimidating as Shirley Jackson. Michael Stuhlbarg’s performance is great too.

Well acted and well written fictional biopic. A weird story that is a slow burn that will keep you engaged by compelling performances.

Interesting & well-acted, but it feels like a cheat to to draw us in thinking we're getting "Shirley" when it's almost complete fiction.

It’s ok but slow… and it’s hard to get a strong interest. Ok if you can’t find anything else to watch.
