Felt like a flat attempt to match the magic of Mike Flanagan.Overall it felt like a made-for-tv movie from the cable era

Awful and boring, nearly walked out of the cinema
Flat, predictable, uninteresting. Had potential to be better
Acting and writing were fine, but the cgi is weak. standard treatment of Stephen King works. A few good gore scenes, lacking in jump scares
Not terrible, but not great either. The pacing is rushed and the characters are flat, even the scares are handled better in the original.
Surprisingly bottom of the barrel. Barely even feels like a real movie.
Really good. I was scared of that little vampire kid. Really liked the character of the teacher Matt Burke.
Very generic vampire movies. There are some goofy scenes that were NOT supposed to be funny. Only thing keeping this from 1/4 is the finale.
Decent enough effects, and Pullman is ok in the role, but pacing is really off. You don't really get to know anyone, to care about them.
