Pretty clever script but is too low budget and restrictive to deliver on its potential. Just kinda ended feeling hollow
Idk what I watched. but I do now know what the treaty of maastricht is.
Very strange but enjoyable with some LOL moments.
Being a Guy Maddin film, this is surprisingly mainstream-accessible. The political satire is entertaining without becoming overbearing.
The acting is hit or miss depending who’s on screen, but absurd story & satirical send up of politics made me enjoy this more than not.
Abundance in its laughs but hazy in its thesis, Rumours conveys a doomed world under the hands of incompetence and inefficiency.
