Chanticleer is a foolhardy farm rooster who believes his crows can actually make the sun come up and shine. When the sun rises one morning without Chanticleer's crow, he leaves the farm in disgrace and runs off to become a rock 'n' roll singer. But in his absence, a sinister, sunshine-hating owl prepares to take over.

Strange and innuendo laden. There's a moment about 24min into the movie where the baddie transforms his henchmen into a literal dickhead.
There was some undeniable Talent involved with this but the story is all over the place and kinda hard to follow (especially for kids)
It’s a lighthearted, old fashioned and heart warming cartoon movie
Not one of my favorite Bluth films by any means. Cute, but shallow and way too fast-paced.
I watched this sooo many times as a kid. Wow this brings back memories. It's bad and weird but I liked it as a kid.
Would have had to grow up with this one to appreciate it, and I didn’t. Only liked the dog and pheasant. Pace was outrageously fast.
A children's classic that often goes overlooked. Floating between fun, scary and down right strange, it remains a solid kids flick.
As an adult I realize all the flaws of this movie but as a kid I loved it
The animation is superb! Everything else is very odd. Worth watching once maybe.
Not the best of Bluth's animated films, but for me the nostalgia + it's weirdness makes it so memorable. Still a good movie, 7-8/10
