I don't want to overhype the heist sequence since it was for me, but this as a heist movie in general? It's a classic.
A classic heist film, with a thoroughly thought through plot and script, good performances and directing, especially build-up and suspence.
Rififi set the cinematic rule book for how to make a heist film. It is a truly outstanding film. Don’t sleep on this.
