Funny and a strong case for keeping religion out of government and politics
I’m at least agnostic, politically progressive, but this “documentary” is Maher being smug & mocking others for their beliefs. It’s ugly.
Bill Maher embarrasses himself as he plays theologian.
I’m an atheist but he pushes a debunked conspiracy about Jesus being based on Egypt gods, dishonestly edits some interviews, and is a prick.
It’s mostly an excuse for him do what he does best these days: be condescending and confuse making points for punchlines.

Funny and has good points. Not for the easily triggered, watch it without getting offended and you’ll have a good time.

Bible‑believing Christians should not treat this film as the definition of our faith or of Christian camps in general. Most evangelical churches and camps focus on clear teaching of Scripture, the gospel of grace in Christ, age‑appropriate discipleship, and normal spiritual growth—not the kind of excesses and manipulation shown in this documentary.
