A noir western black comedy thriller. Murder, betrayal, sex, booze & cash! Cage + Hopper fight w/ brains & brawn. Flynn Boyle is to die for.
Nicolas Cage and Dennis Hopper are electric in this tight, entertaining thriller with enough southwestern style to leave its mark.
This flick is a lot of fun to watch and Nicolas Cage is the perfect protagonist for the film.
Well worth watching noir thriller with some good performances
Didn't get much of the praises this film received by critics, but maybe then, cliches used weren't cliches yet. Overall, a good experience.
This movie is a delight. It’s an Indie darling, this is cage at some of his most subtle and best acting. I would strongly recommend watching

This is a very good 90's neo noir thriller. Nicolas Cage before he was bat shit crazy and Dennis Hopper are both excellent.
Try not to laugh at the preposterous number of coincidences, but this is still an awesome noir film. Cage plays it straight, aka boring.
A fantastic noir thriller that really is a hidden gem amongst its genre.
