A cinematic masterpiece on the life, love, grief and legacy of Marie Sklodowska-Curie.
Based on a graphic novel, the story of radium is a tragedy of magnitudes, yet inspirational, beautiful, and thought provoking.
Interesting and important story, really worth knowing. But personally i found it a tad too bland and flat as a movie overall.
There's just no way they went to bed with that glowing danger thing!
Rosamund gave a great performance, but the dialogue was written so atrociously that it made no difference.
You won't enjoy it if you are not interested in the topic. If you are it is still 50/50
Plodding, too long, and not focused enough on Marie Curie herself. Rather, it tries to cover too much history into the 20th century.
Rosamund Pike is amazing. But her character is written extremely unlikeable. And some of the symbols are very on the nose.
Pike's amazing, but it's a mistake to focus so much on Marie Curie's personality defects and so little on her brilliance and accomplishments
Pike and Taylor-Joy did really well, the true story is incredible but the movie barely tapped that potential.
