Good ole fashioned 70’s messed up horror. You have to watch.
Even when first starting his career, Cronenberg still makes a body horror classic. A great idea of where his career would lead to.
A film about a vampire nipple, pulled off in the way that only Cronenberg could. It's better than that makes it sound.
Cronenberg pushing the boundaries; exploring the extremes of sexuality and disease.
A great film that follows the spread of an epidemic in an oddly realistic way although the nature of what is happening is absurd.
Strange appendage and blood lust...ewww.
Take a porn star and give her a phallic and bloodthirsty appendage. That’s pure genius. The rest is B movie, quite silly for what I remember
Is not Cronenberg best movie , but it have an interesting idea , with some good scenes .
The film was entertaining but mostly for the wrong reasons.
Need to give this a rewatch, but I remember being unimpressed the first time I saw it.
