I wanted to like this more than I did, but it’s a little messy. Still, Julio Torres is great, and I think his next movie will be even better
Appreciated this fantastical tale tackling absurdities of US immigration system. Had no idea where this was going. Great performances.

I felt more interested in this having previously seen “Fantasmas.” Another Torres gem. Tilda Swinton is perfectly insufferable.
Not all of it lands, but it is charming enough to not be a waste of time.
One of those “quirky film school kid” movies that shows no technical prowess and is laser focused on its half-assed Devil Wears Prada plot
