Playboy songwriter Brad Allen's succession of romances annoys his neighbor, interior designer Jan Morrow, who shares a telephone party line with him and hears all his breezy routines. After Jan unsuccessfully lodges a complaint against him, Brad sets about to seduce her in the guise of a sincere and upstanding Texas rancher. A truly funny movie. A real Romcom classic
Fluffy, clever and funny with charismatic leads.
Rock Hudson & Doris Day are great together. Awesome movie, no matter how many times I see it I laugh & find it adorable.
The first of what would become a fruitful dynamic with Doris Day & Rock Hudson & dont forget Tony Randall! Light, predictable, cute
Lovely film, very enjoyable in a funny and cute way. May contain outdated gender politics, but not in a way that spoils the whole movie.
A great mistaken identity farce and the best of the Day/Hudson films. Much better than most of today’s rom-coms.
Terrific comedy. You’ll laugh throughout.
One of my favourite classic rom coms. Great cast and plot.
I wanted it to be better than it was. But oh! The decor and fashion!
You know what you’re getting… although the title should be taken quite literally.
