Disney's animated adaptation of Prokofiev's masterpiece, in which every character is represented musically by a different instrument. Young Peter decides to go hunting for the wolf that's been prowling around the village. Along the way, he is joined by his friends the bird, the duck and the cat. All the fun comes to end, however, when the wolf makes an appearance. Will Peter and his friends live to tell of their adventures?

A perfect job combining instruments to characters and telling a story without words. Stays with you for life. A classic.
Cute animation accompanied with cute lil instrument sounds. I found the wolf terrifying as a kid. Now I look back on this with nostalgia
Classic story, but maybe a bit slow for our modern sensibility.
Great musical characterization of Prokofiev along with good Disney animation. A gem.
I have very fond memories of this from childhood.
Classic. Love the music esp when the wolf comes.
It’s fine, not spectacular. A good way to introduce kids to musical themes.
A film that I remembered from my childhood, it may not be spectacular, but it is well made.
If I had a child of my own I’d just play the music for them. The cartoon doesn’t add much at all. Kinda cute n charming, but not great.
It's always distracting when a voice actor's disinterestedly reading from a script, but the animation is pretty great.
