Even if it didn’t appear that good at first, I enjoyed it so much
Fantastic! I’ve not read the book but I prefer it to the 2007 movie. They definitely take some liberties, modernizing it, but not overdone.
A beautifully created slow burn! With an amazing character development and story line.
Good romance without being to sappy or sad.
Taken by surprise by this irreverent, yet loving adaptation. Not a layering over of anachronisms, but a faithful capturing of the source.
I was skeptical, but it's now one of my fave movies. The modern elements blend in nicely, and what a tragic and lovely romance story!
Don't watch this as a Jane Austen adaption watch it as a period drama and then it's just on the right note
Better than I anticipated. I enjoyed some of the modern references placed throughout.
A good period drama, but not for people who don’t like the genre. I could see some finding it boring/weirdly paced.
Probably my favorite Dakota Johnson movie
