Don't know if it was done intentionally "as art" or poorly done, but the way it was shot made it very hard for me to watch, like motion sick
Superb adaptation of such a beautiful story. Hawkins and Penry-Jones show us they are masters of their craft.
So purely, shamelessly romantic. My favourite Austen novel, and this is a faithful, well- casted adaptation. A gentle story.
The leads are amazing in this. Quite beautiful ending
A good adaptation of my favorite Austen novel
It's good but not the best adaptation as the one from 1995.
Love the vibe, let’s you sit in the world and isn’t too slow.
Slow-moving but largely faithful Austen adaptation for those to whom fidelity is a priority. Sally Hawkins is perfectly cast.
Sally Hawkins is well cast, but due to the slow pace and unimaginative cinematography, I regretfully report I do not care for this version.
So sloooowww!! Watched with friends and we were all laughing our heads off and screaming for the main characters to just kiss already
