Really fun. Insane that Furlong did this and “American History X” the same year. They are worlds apart.
Waters started going more Hollywood in ‘94 with Serial Mom. That style change can also be seen in Pecker (‘98). Good but it’s late Waters.
Probably Waters‘ best film, this has heart, humour and hilarious characters. Fun to rewatch.
Fairly tame film for John Waters satirising the art world. Watch as a non John Waters film it's fairly alright

If you like John Waters, you'll like it. If you don't, then you wont. Its a very fun, trashy romp for all the weirdos out there.
Extremely underrated. I'd say it's the most personal John Waters film, a satire of the art world and an ode to outsider art.
Uninteresting satire on art, doesn’t really have an edge
Very over the top but has a simple message about staying true to oneself and the art you make. A tamer Waters movie for sure
