Very decent biography movie, great story.
Fascinating but tragic story of chess great bobby Fischer who battled inner demons & loneliness. Brilliant, intense acting.
I dare you to watch this film and not be impressed with Maguire’s acting. He’s an underrated actor that deserves more love.

I like any movie that makes me want to learn more about the subject, even when it’s as depressing as Bobby Fischer’s descent into madness.
Good biographical movie, reminded me the novel “The Royal Game” sometimes.

One of the only good chess movies around, and one that actually gets the chess part mostly right while also managing to tell a good story.
