Risking his life, Luke ventures to Rome to visit Paul -- the apostle who's bound in chains and held captive in Nero's darkest and bleakest prison cell. Haunted by the shadows of his past misdeeds, Paul wonders if he's been forgotten as he awaits his grisly execution. Before Paul's death, Luke resolves to write another book that details the birth of what will come to be known as the church.

Don't come here looking for action. It's more cathartic. Enjoyable and convicting performances from the actors. Credit where due. Good watch
.. amazing history, but the movie itself is a little bit slow!
A poignant reminder that the early church was not all roses. They struggled with doubt, pain and suffering in the midst of their faith
A beautiful story of what it means to truly love, to be forgiven, and to fight for what is right under every circumstance.
A great movie from start to finish. Not one of those “cheesy Christian” films.
Love it but Lukas was the main character on my opinion :p
A reminder of the true meaning of love, forgiveness, hope, and what it means to be human, and this might compel them to live a better life.
It has high production values and good performances from Faulkner and Cavaziel but still feels a bit too much like a lower budget TV series.
can be slow at times but overall is very good
Very slow and boring, but they captured the biblical setting well. The acting was better than most Christian films.
