Melancholy film with Peckinpah’s trademark penchant for slow-mo violence on display. The songs by Bob Dylan are probably the best part.

Traditional old type slow pace western with good atmosphere building

I like this movie because it’s so much different than most other westerns. Far from Peckinpah’s best, but it has its redeeming qualities.

It's a slow western I was losing interest in but Knocking on Heaven's Door in context is pure movie magic.
