Im an Almodóvar fan so Im prob rating this better than it is. Not bad not great, worth it 4 Cruz. Still unconventional with good plot twists
Penelope Cruz really shines in this one. A little all over the place if I’m being honest, but riveting nonetheless.
Difficult topic handled with a light touch by Almadovar. Penelope is amazing. The original score is something special

I liked how Almodovar could made an analogy about the "truth" with the central themes, like Patricio Guzman's films (La Nostalgia de la Luz)
Almodovar brilliantly mixes what in lesser hands would be tabloid drama with a a larger historical canvas. Cruz is brilliant as always.
I love how Almodóvar always manage to represent a personal history along historical context, and everything is connected even it seems not
A perfect blend of melodrama and real life tragedy. Almodovar shows again why he’s one of the best still working! Cruz=one of the best!
Gentle and interesting theme which becomes clear with quote at the end. Cruz and Sprit are very good. I enjoyed it.
