They Call the Wind Mariah is marvelous and shows how powerful this film could have been with real singers. It’s pretty lame mostly as is.
A watchable Eastwood movie, but this is one of his lesser known yet very underappreciated performances.
Watched this with my Dad - way back when, didn't get the plot, maybe I was too young ?
A watchable "musical". There aren't too many songs either. It's pretty funny with some funny scenes.
Campy musical western. C. Eastwood & Marvin sing. The actors have fun with the script.Based on Bdwy play. It's meant to be silly.
Absolutely terrible. Slow, clunky, boring, insincere, and just awful.
A musical western that's guaranteed to have your whole family laughing and singing along.
I’ve hated this musical since I was a kid. I love Musical Theatre, but Paint Your Wagon is the worst. The music is bad &The plot is strange
Interesting movie. (Drama, comedy, musical, period piece). Lee Marvin is fantastic. Clint Eastwood seems miscast.
This is my dad's favorite movie.
