Big pig good, capitalism bad. Tilda Swinton evil, Jake Gyllenhaal unhinged. Vegans won this round.
Paul Dano looked so good in this and the plot wasn’t my favorite but it was portrayed well throughout the movie

At the very least, it’s a conversation starter. It’s strange because it doesn’t feel casted well at some points and it does at others.
A little on the nose at times, but still pretty engaging, beautifully edited, powerfully acted and juggles a bunch of genres very well.
Didn’t expect to get emotionally invested in what I thought was going to be a lighthearted family film. Definitely isn’t for kids right away
Successfully delivers its message, visually looks great. A couple scenes felt out of place, like the Yeun beatdown scene. Overall good film.
Beautiful and sad movie. Unique in every way, though. Dystopian as hell. People suck.
I was really sad in that one scene with the other okjas. But it’s a very strong message.
