One of the most underrated mindf*ck films of the late 90’s. And a fitting representation of the late 20th century’s pop culture…on acid.
This is exactly how i imagine the 90s being like
Now here's a staple of 90's Indie-Cinema! Director Gregg Araki at his best! 8/10 The film is Dark, Troubled & Naughty....Not for Most! 💋 👀
one of the best gutpunch endings ive ever seen
An acid, colorful and surreal 90s time capsule that weirdly feels ahead of its time by portraying queer, sexually liberated young people.
Does anything make sense in this film? No, but you understand every feeling, love the setting, and laugh a lot! Dogs eating people is cool!
I think it's Gregg Araki's best and one of his easiest to get into. It can still get absolutely batshit insane though
Really unique and great casting and acting despite the low budget. Gregg Araki is the best independent filmmaker
The story is ridiculous, but it's aesthetically pleasing and funny.
it’s visually appealing, the storyline… not the best
