Absolutely just one of the weirdest movies, it seems so light and fun but is also really macabre and grotesque at the same time
Not as good as the cast would suggest. The Jokes are few and far between. Not many laughs and not much of a story either.
I don't even know if I can say if this is good or bad, because it defines the word preternatural. I can't believe a human even made it.
The thing is, this movie is not a good story, but it is entertaining. It's so weird and totally Aykroyd. I think people should watch it.
I remember thinking the movie was pretty scary but good as a kid, rewatched it recently for free on YouTube and kind of felt underwhelmed.
Watch it to say you did, because you don't want to miss out on Mr. Bonestripper.
All that effort in set and costume design and a rockstar cast only to make something repulsive. Could have been a lot less weird and worked.
I mean. Weird but also kinda clever & funny.
To be clear, this is not a good movie. But as a dramatization of what it must be like in Dan Aykroyd's head, it might prove illuminating.
While it doesn’t have a very good story, the comedy and characters are enjoyable to say the least.
