The acting was fine. It's not a bad movie. I like Sally Fields. But the story just pisses me off. So it's a frustrating watch.

Definitely a biased film but one that has a lot of drama to it. It can drag at some points but it is ultimately a really heartwarming tale.

Saw this as a child and could never forget it, even now it's a great depiction of the cultural shock and how much people changes.
